Welcome to Freedom In Action Radio

Freedom in Action radio program is a local citizen radio forum featuring the current state of local, state, national and international affairs, news and political discussion. Saturday mornings from 7-9am on KQMS 105.7fm, 104.9fm, and 1670am in Redding, Ca.

Freedom In Action was started in 2011 by Pete Peters and Greg Mann.  After the death of Pete, Greg, and then co-host Bill Schappell, Kelly Frost took over the program in March of 2024.

We strive to bring you the most interesting interviews possible with guest of local, and national significance. We also try to leave time each week for open phones - a chance for you to share what’s on your mind.

This program reaches a geographical area from Chico to Dunsmuir.  You can also listen to the show by streaming live and after the show, from the archives.
